Friend: It’s probably much harder to be gay than black in America. Gay people don’t have any civil rights. Me: Interesting point of view. Though I usually experience microaggressive behavior targeting my race. Friend: Sorry you’re black. Friend is white and straight. I’m black and gay. Made me confused.
