So…”Save the Pearls” author Victoria Foyt actually commissioned fan art of a black male character in her self-published novel. This is a sculpture of Bramford, a character who is a “coal.” In the book, Foyt described as an “animal” and a “beast” in the books and marketing materials. (Also something about how he is part jaguar as part of the plot? Not sure.)
